Z1Motorsports Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms for Nissan 350Z and InfinitiG35.We took on this challenge with a goal to produce the highest quality armspossible while maintaining competitive pricing and outstanding performance.
Made of 4130chrome-moly hardened alloy steel, these arms are strong enough to take anytrack abuse you can throw at them while maintaining good ride quality and solidperformance. They feature a durable powder-coated black and silver veinedfinish which is attractive for show cars, and chemical resistant. all hardwareis custom CNC machined with Black Hard Anodize and Bright Zinc finishes. Z1control arms are 100% rebuildable and use sturdy heim joint ball joints formaximum durability and performance.Replacement Ball Joints for Z1Upper Control Armsare available.
Z1Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms feature an offset ball joint location inorder to deliver an optimal caster increase. Increasing the amount of positivecaster will increase steering effort and straight-line tracking, as well asimprove high-speed stability and cornering effectiveness. Positive caster alsoincreases camber when cornering as the steering angle is increased to keep yourZ planted through hard corners. These control arm also offer an additionalcamber adjustment.
Our designallows arm-length adjustment on both the inboard and outboard ends of the arm,providing the most range of camber adjustment for stance or tracking for theserious motoring enthusiast.
STREET VSRACE
Like Z1\'sother suspension arms, two versions of our front upper control arms areavailable for purchase. Thestreet versionfeatures fullyforged bushing ends loaded with Energy Suspension urethane bushings. Thisprovides the most appropriate feel for street-driven cars and offers the leastamount of NVH. They are fully serviceable withreplacement bushingsavailableand a grease fitting on top for easy routine service.
Theraceversionis ideal for those looking to maximize performance and aren\'tconcerned about increases in NVH. Solid heim-style bushing ends eliminatebushing deflection, providing the most direct feel. The race end\'s slightlyshorter overall length provides more negative camber than the street version.This is ideal for track cars and those looking for more adjustability. Anotherbenefit to the race version is the ability to fine-tune the caster bylengthening the adjuster on one side of the arm. This is only possible on therace version, as the heim joint provides more articulation where this is notpossible with urethane bushings.
OPTIONS
In theproduct options, you can select to add aZ1 Jam Nut Wrenchto yourorder. This is used to aid in the final tightening of the jam nuts afterinstall and alignment and is an important tool used to ensure the jam nutsreceive sufficient torque.
