MenuWichard Marine Wichard Profurl C260 Headsail Reefing-Furling System - C2608PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Wichard Marine Profurl C260 Headsail Reefing-Furling System
Efficient, self-contained roller furling for compact boats—ideal for sailboats from 5 to 7 meters.
The Profurl C260 is an easy-to-install, cost-effective system that mounts on your existing forestay. Designed for long-term reliability, it requires no maintenance.
Self-Contained Halyard for Tighter Forestays
On light and fractionally rigged boats, achieving a tight forestay can be difficult. The C260’s self-contained halyard helps minimize forestay sag by reducing mast compression created by combined halyard and sail loads.
Simple Installation & Trailer-Friendly Design
No specialized stem-head attachment is needed. The system simply connects to the lower swage terminal of the forestay (using eye/holes plates or a turnbuckle).
- Fits existing forestay
- No specialized attachment required
- Can separate into two sections for safer transport and storage on trailers
Easy Operation
The halyard passes over a sheave box at the top of the extrusion and runs down to a sheave and cam cleat. After hoisting and tensioning the sail, the remaining halyard becomes the furling line.
