You are looking at a Whipple twin screw Supercharger head unit. I'm not sure as to the application. I was informed it was a 1.6 L but I cannot guarantee that 100%. It appears it may have been potentially refurbished. The rotor pack looks excellent. There is evidence of blue machinist dye inside the case and grease on the gear set. It does spin over but has slight resistance that can be heard in the video I posted as well. I would recommend having a professional look at it to ensure it has been properly assembled and that the rotors are correctly timed. I do not know the history of the unit.
