I believe it is a British Everoak brand crash helmet of the late 1940s or early 50s. * Origin: Made in Great Britain (Confirmed by Newey Brothers Ltd, Birmingham hardware).* Shell: Dual-layer resin-impregnated compressed vulcanized fiber.* Lining: Multi-point adjustable canvas tie-string suspension with authentic brown leather ear/neck curtains.* Hardware: Original brass rivets with "5 over 8" tool stamps; British Newey snap fasteners.* Condition Note: Heavy, honest racing patina. Outer paint shows cracking and flaking, revealing the raw underlying fiber layers.
