Greetings, and thank you for your interest in this 1990-1992 Cadillac Allante Delco/Bose radio Control Data Module (CDM). Its placement is behind the glovebox, and it is the tuner/receiver, which is actually the radio itself.
This CDM was donated by a 1991 Allante which I parted out in Kingman, Arizona. I installed it in my pearl white 1992 Allante, which I drive every day, to test its performance and reliability. After just over a month of daily use, I\'m pleased to report that it performs reliably and flawlessly. While I cannot guarantee this CDM, my testing leaves me confident that it will continue working for many more years of listening pleasure.
The photos show that the case is in good condition, with minor scratches from removal and installation. Included are photos of the missing sticker and of the circuitry. The two black plastic electrical gang plugs are in great condition, with no cracks or missing pieces.
Please confirm that the part number on this CDM (16087110) matches yours. Also be aware that blown Delco/Bose amplifiers are common problems in Allantes, causing no sound, low sound, or pops, to emanate from one or more of the speaker housings.
