Summary: The kit was great, as advertised, unfortunately it did not work for my application. I planned to use it on my 68 Corvette, the distributor would not fit under my factory shielding, and the wires were too short to route with the shielding also. no biggie, i have several other SBC vehicles to use this kit on.

Summary: Love this distributor! It looks great in the the engine compartment and it's worked reliably. It's easy to adjust the curve and time it. The downside is that the flamethrower coil died on me within months. And yes I had it hooked up to 12v, triggered by a relay, so no I didn't wire it up wrong. Speedway replaced it for me no problem but I still had to deal with being stranded while picking up dinner with my 12 year old. Had to walk to an auto parts store and get a regular coil. Thank god I left the old resistor wire in there and could wire it up. Haven't had a problem since but I still carry a regular coil with me just in case.
