Original 1920 ‘s Vintage Accessory Trico Vacuum Auxiliary Arm NOS in Box Antique For Sale - New and Used

Here is a New Old Stock, Vintage late 1920s, original TRICO Automatic Windshield Cleaner accessory still in its original box.Many cars and trucks of the late 1920s still had only a hand operated or automatic (Vacuum operated) wiper on the driver\'s side only. This auxiliary arm kit allowed the owner of the vehicle to add an additional wiper blade to the passenger side and be operated in tandem with the driver\'s side blade. The auxiliary blade bracket would be mounted above the windshield on the passenger side mirroring the driver\'s side mounting. The distance between the two would be adjusted by shortening the connecting bar between the two mountings. This bar in this kit appears to have been shortened by approximately three inches to mount perfectly on a smaller car, such as a 1920s Chevrolet, Pontiac, etc. car or truck. No instructions are included, and there are no mounting screws or rivets still with this kit to complete the installation. Both end flaps of the original box are missing as shown and some original parts may be missing. I am including in the photos of this listing an ad for this item from a 1929 Automotive Equipment retail catalog for reference. I believe this kit is probably for the Fisher VV type windshield, as listed, as the bracket include will fit perfectly on the panel above the windshield.
