The combination of softshell, ripstop, PWR|Shell Mesh, and ballistic mesh, with large/visible ventilation panels leaves no mystery as to what you’re getting with this jacket. Safety first
A longstanding staple in the collection, the Airwave 4 is a fan favorite within the ventilated jackets category and has a Class AA CE certification. It also includes SEESMART elbow and shoulder protection, along with the option to add chest and back armor. Laminated reflection can also be found at the lower arms, shoulders, and back so riders are more visible in low-light situations.

Under this garment you can wear our REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air® Airbag - or a Tech5 airbag - if you purchase the garment one size bigger than your usual size. If you wish to wear a garment that is marked as ""Ready for Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system"", you must be sure that the garment can accommodate the expansion of the airbag and therefore we recommend following below fit equation: 1. Measure chest circumference and divide the measurement by two; 2. Measure garment flat on chest line; 3. If the difference between point 1 and point 2 is 12 centimeters or bigger the garment is suitable to wear on top of the airbag. Note: Please keep in mind that the garment should be purchased in the correct size in order for the shoulder and elbow protection to fit properly and best protect you in case of a crash. In order to create space for the expansion of the airbag, you can remove all separate layers (thermal liners, water proof liners) that can restrict the expansion of the airbag in the event of a crash. Remove the separate back protector in your garment, if any, when wearing the airbag (a back protector is included in the airbag) and adjust all adjustment straps on body to the widest position.
Laminated reflection on shoulders
Reflection panels ensure excellent visibility at all angles, allowing the wearer to be seen from all directions. To offer a more sophisticated look, the reflection panels are welded to the fabric. This welding process also eliminates stitching seams, making the garments safer.

The REV’IT! flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar circumference easily and personalize its fit to each rider. A jacket is often worn in more then one season, and the flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar within seconds. During winter a wider collar circumference accommodates combining the jacket with a balaclava or wind collar, while during summer, a wider circumference lets an all-important cooling wind into the collar.
