From the 1978 Sears catalog - \"Thick chrome-plated steel spokes stand out vividly above the back plate of heavy steel painted jet black. Five simulated lug nuts shine with chrome plating\". I have posted two pics from the catalog I found online (not included). Also, there is a red reflector in the center of each. Very cool.
As you can see, the price in the 1978 catalog for a set of 4 is $45.25. According to the Consumers Price Index website, that equals $227.24 in today\'s dollars! Let\'s start the sale at $95.00...
The box was found on the top shelf, way back in the corner, in an outbuilding of a North Carolina farm. The label was facing the wall. No one cared to look in it for decades! The main photo was taken in the outbuilding when we took the contents out of the box (very carefully). Each one was in it\'s own plastic bag separated by cardboard. This is how you will receive it. It will be placed into another box for shipping.
The quality chrome plating over steel is gorgeous and has them weighing in at two and a half pounds each. No cheap plastic made in China crap here.
The catalog (and box) says they fit most 15 inch wheels. They feature the \"Saf-Lok\" Lock Ring. I have included a few pics of the backside. I will gladly send you more pics if needed to see if they will work for you. That said, I cannot take returns, as they may not come back to me in the same NOS condition as when I sent them out.
