Engineered specifically for MerCruiser Gen III (3) Cool Fuel modules, this pump acts as the critical first stage of your fuel system, drawing fuel directly from the boat\'s gas tank and feeding it to the high-pressure injector pump.
Manufactured with corrosion-resistant alloy steel and highly durable internals, this pump is designed to withstand the harsh conditions of marine and ethanol-blended fuel environments. This kit includes the low-pressure pump and the necessary O-ring/seal for a secure, leak-free installation.

CRITICAL FITMENT WARNING: This low-pressure lift pump ONLY fits MerCruiser V8 engines equipped with the Gen III (3) Cool Fuel module. It does NOT fit Gen II systems or carbureted engines. ’s compatibility tool only reads engine size/year, which can be inaccurate for marine parts. Visually verify your module is Gen 3 before purchasing. PRO TIP: Thoroughly clean the inside of your Cool Fuel housing before installation to prevent debris from ruining the new pump.
💡 PRO MARINE MECHANIC TIP:
Verify Your Module Generation! This pump ONLY fits the Gen III (3) Cool Fuel system. MerCruiser used a completely different inline pump configuration for Gen II modules. Additionally, when replacing this pump, it is highly recommended to thoroughly inspect and clean the inside of the Cool Fuel housing, as peeling paint or debris inside the housing is a common cause of premature pump failure.
