ON CB550F models,
unless you can remove the old insert at the bottom of your tube,
(where the small damper rod goes).
IF your particular model does NOT have the smaller return spring at the bottom of the damper, these will NOT fit.
At the lower end of those tubes there looks to be a separate insert, which is pressed into the tube.
If you can figure out a way to remove the insert and install in the new tubes, you can then make it work.
