The VAS-V (Variable Axis System) shield is designed for Arai’s VAS-equipped full-face helmets: Corsair-X, Signet-X, Quantum-X, Defiant-X, Regent-X, and DT-X. Arai designates the dark smoke tint for intense-sunshine conditions. The MAX Vision eye-port cavity accepts a Pinlock 120 anti-fog insert (clear insert only, sold separately), and the brow vent ports feed the helmet’s intake ducts for airflow across the forehead. The shield removes and installs in seconds via the dual-function VAS lever — no tools required. This is a genuine Arai replacement shield, brand new and never mounted.
