Single 44HPMX Carburetor Kit offers the performance of the two barrel HPMX carburetor and the ease of only having one carburetor. The 44HPMX carb is completely tuneable with air and fuel metering all being adjustable and the butterflies are drilled to help maintain a smooth idle. The carburetor kit includes the 44HPMX carburetor with linkage kit, a chrome air cleaner assembly with gauze filter, the isolated plenum center intake manifold (for use with single or dual port end Type 1 1300-1600 based engines. We recommend the single 44HPMX carburetor for displacements over 1800cc. The carburetors are test run and adjusted for smooth performance out of the box. Fits 1966-1974 Beetle and Super Beetle. Will fit in 1963-1971 Bus and 1973-1974 Things if the idle jet vent tubes and velocity stacks are removed
