These are custom, hand-shaped ABS assemblies crafted to replicate rare 1M side indicators. Paired with an included automotive bedding kit for a rigid, flush install. Built specifically for custom, widebody, and clone conversions.
Overview & Build Process
Genuine factory 1M side indicators are permanently discontinued or subject to indefinite backorders. To solve this platform headache, these units are hand-fabricated using M-platform donor assemblies to replace obsolete OE part numbers 51138051601 and 51138051602.
Each set is individually trimmed, shaped, and test-fitted on a dedicated bench jig prior to packaging.
Modular Badge Options (Included in Box)
Because these housings are adapted from donor assemblies, the included side emblems feature M-style script. Emblems are left uninstalled in the package alongside precision blackout overlays so you can tailor the look:
- Clean / Badgeless: Leave the recessed pocket bare for a sleek, minimal aesthetic.
- 1M Pure Look: Apply the included pre-cut black vinyl overlay to conceal the numerical script, showcasing solely the iconic ///M tricolor stripes.
- Heritage / S65 Swaps: Install the badge unmasked as-is (popular for V8 S65-swapped 1-Series builds).
Installation & Bedding Kit (Included) Because subtle curvature tolerances exist across OEM steel and aftermarket composite 1M fenders, we supply a complete bedding kit for an exact, flush fit:
Automotive RTV Silicone Sealant (Sealed Applicator Included): We supply a brand-new, factory-sealed tube of profressional-grade black automotive RTV silicone with a precision applicator nozzle. Applying a continuous bead along the inner mounting flange cushions the housing, pulls it down flush to eliminate panel gaps, dampens road vibration, and blocks water intrusion.
100% Reversible: Cures into a permanent, flexible automotive gasket that will not harm clear coats and peels away cleanly if removed down the road.
