The CSF 3717 is an OE-style replacement radiator designed for automatic transmission BMW models equipped with the N54, N55, N52, and N20 engines, including the E82/E88 135i, E90/E92/E93 335i and 335is, E84 X1, and E89 Z4. This direct drop-in radiator matches the factory aluminum core and plastic tank construction with all OE connection points, mounting locations, and quick-connect inlet and outlet fittings for straightforward installation using the existing shrouding, hoses, and brackets. The aluminum core features CSF's high-performance multi-louvered fin design that maximizes surface area contact for efficient heat dissipation. Every unit is individually leak tested at 150% of operating pressure and undergoes vibration-cycle, thermal-cycle, and wind tunnel testing before leaving the factory. A cooling system control sleeve is included for the drain port. This radiator is specifically designed for automatic transmission applications and does not fit manual transmission vehicles -- order CSF 3716 for manual trans.
