Combines a support for timing disc and a bracket to hold a pointer on the engine.
This will aid in setting ignition timing and also valve timing on all later single engines with alternator..Included are timing disc for 1964-66 short stroke single onto card .
The bracket supports a slider holding a pointer. The slider is mounted on an 8mm screw and this allows micro adjustment of the position of the pointer needle.
There are 2.8 mm holes in the disc support which will allow insertion of 3mm screws to hold the card disc but in practice this has been found unnecessary.The photograph shows the bracket and disc in place on the left of the engine, . The pointer bracket is screwed into the inner primary timing case and the disc is held by the disc support on the end of the rotor.
