With Hooker Super Competition the objective has always been to make the maximum horsepower and to put it at the optimum point in the power curve. It takes a lot of time and money to do the job right. We will sometimes spend up to 2 to 3 times more just to make the Super Competition header work only 5 to 10% better. That commitment to excellence has made Hooker Headers the winningest header manufacturer in automotive drag racing history. Will only fit 16 bolt F.E. cylinder heads with the top four exhaust bolt holes in line - Will not seal properly on heads with_x000D_the end upper bolts lower than the center bolts._x000D__x000D_Will not fit convertible models._x000D__x000D_Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Hooker recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers during your engine break-in period to avoid damaging your coated damage. The use of header wraps can cause the header tubes to crack or rust due to excessive heat and moisture build-up. Hooker does not recommend the use of header wraps as this will void the warranty. Ceramic-coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before withstanding extreme heat.
