This listing is for a left and right pair of vintage Yamaha XS650 air cleaner box cases.
These are the early round/oval metal air cleaner housings with vented outer covers, mounting tabs, intake boots, clamps, and attached side door/flap pieces shown in the photos.
The housings appear consistent with the 1972 Yamaha XS2 and 1973 Yamaha TX650 air cleaner configuration.
The earlier XS1/XS1B and later XS2/TX650 air cleaner configurations differ. These housings should not be purchased as direct-fit replacements for the original 1970–71 XS1/XS1B air cleaner boxes.
No manufacturer part numbers have been confirmed on the actual housings. Exact original model and year of removal are unknown.
