VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE RESCUE® is the manufacturer of this new MADE IN USA high quality reproduction replacement Battery Cushion Tray, which came standard with every Yuasa 12N12A-4A-1 battery Honda installed in all 350cc and 450cc bikes, along with some others. It will also fit many other brands of motorcycles that use a 12N12A-4A-1 size and style Yuasa or other battery.
This part does not have a Honda part number and has never been available from Honda, because it was provided by Yuasa. This new product is vastly superior to the OEM part, because it is made with neoprene chemical resistant rubber. Our highest quality item is made the same way Honda's original part was, with an injection molding process on an 80 ton press. We used an NOS OEM genuine Yuasa battery tray as a model to make an exactly shaped aluminum CNC mold duplicate, so it's a very accurate reproduction. It measures approximately 3-1/4" width by 5-1/4" length by 7/8".
This part is show bike quality, although once installed in the bottom of the battery box it isn't visible. The original purpose of this tray was to isolate the battery from the sometimes considerable vibration of the Honda 350/450. Most owners in the day found this black common rubber tray would rapidly deteriorate and there has been no available replacement until now.
