BMW Motorrad Jacket for Adventure Touring
The structured touring silhouette is designed to work with motorcycle trousers, gloves, boots and other adventure-riding equipment. The longer touring-oriented profile is intended to provide useful coverage in a seated riding position without turning the jacket into a short racing-style design. Pre-shaped sleeves, a high collar and adjustable fastening points support a secure fit around the arms, wrists and upper body.
The design can be worn for motorcycle touring, highway travel, everyday commuting and adventure-inspired road use. Its combination of a Cordura textile shell and removable internal layers allows the rider to adjust the setup according to temperature, planned base layers and journey length.
Multi-Season Riding and Weather Adaptability
The water-resistant outer construction is intended for changing road conditions and light rain. It should not be described as fully waterproof for prolonged heavy weather unless the finished garment has passed a separate verified waterproof test. Close the front zip, collar, cuffs and ventilation points when additional coverage is needed.
For cooler journeys, install the removable quilted thermal liner and allow enough room for an appropriate riding base layer. In milder conditions, the liner can be removed to reduce bulk. The breathable mesh inner lining and integrated ventilation system help air move through the jacket when the vents are opened.
Removable Inserts and Riding-Focused Construction
Removable inserts are supplied for the back, shoulders and elbows. Internal compartments help keep these components positioned inside the jacket, while reinforced panel construction supports areas exposed to regular movement and wear. Check the position of every insert before use and make sure the jacket fits securely in the riding posture.
The included inserts should not be presented as having a particular CE level or safety certification unless that certification is specifically supplied and verified. Riders should choose equipment according to their motorcycle, riding environment and local safety requirements.

The integrated air-ventilation system is designed to support adjustable airflow during longer journeys. Open the available vents in warmer conditions and close them in cold or wet weather. Quality YKK zip closures provide straightforward operation across the main front closure, ventilation points and zippered storage areas.
Multiple functional pockets provide space for small touring essentials. Keep every pocket securely closed before riding and avoid storing sharp, fragile or excessively heavy objects in the jacket. Adjustable Touring Fit and Size Selection
A touring jacket should allow comfortable reach toward the handlebars while maintaining wrist, back and waist coverage. Adjustable cuffs and fastening points help refine the fit and reduce unnecessary movement of the sleeves and inserts. Compare your chest, waist, shoulders, sleeve length and back length with the product size chart while wearing the type of base layer you expect to use.
Standard sizes are available across the listed range. Because the jacket is made to order, custom sizing may also be requested when standard measurements do not provide the preferred fit. Submit accurate body measurements and mention any planned winter layering before production begins.
Care Instructions
- Remove the back, shoulder and elbow inserts before cleaning.
- Detach the quilted thermal liner and clean it separately as appropriate.
- Wipe the Cordura textile shell gently with a soft, damp cloth.
- Use only a mild textile cleaner when necessary and test it on a hidden area first.
- Do not use bleach, harsh solvents or direct heat.
- Allow the jacket and liner to air-dry completely before storage.
- Store the jacket on a wide, supportive hanger with all vents and pockets closed.
