• Mounting dimensions and electrical connections match the original, so it bolts in without modification
• Compared with the unit it replaces: cranks the engine faster, draws less current, and starts more reliably when the engine bay is hot
• MOTRONIC VERSION — Ferrari's own parts records list 151852 against 348 cars with Bosch Motronic 2.7. Very early 348 cars built with Motronic 2.5 should be checked against the number on the original starter before ordering
• Ferrari 141706 is the earlier number for the same starter position on 348 tb, 348 ts and Mondial t. Cars carrying that number are covered
• The 348 and Mondial t share the 3.4 litre Tipo F119 V8 and the transverse gearbox, which is why one starter serves both models
• NOT for Ferrari 328, 308 or Mondial 3.2 — those use the earlier 3.2 litre V8 with a different starter
• NOT for Ferrari F355 — that model supersedes the 348 and uses its own starter
• NOT for Ferrari Testarossa, 512 TR or F512 M — those are flat-12 engines with a different starting system
