This is the correct/compatible computer for any Early 99 Ford F-Series Super Duty Pickup (F250 F350 F450 etc) with the 7.3L Powerstroke (Direct Injected HEUI) Diesel Engine and 4R100 Automatic Transmission. If you have a truck that checks those boxes, your original PCM label will have "DPC-402" printed on it. All "DPC-402" PCM's are compatible/interchangeable.

This unit was recently removed from a running 1999 7.3L / Automatic truck and is fully tested- absolutely no problems. NO REPROGRAMMING REQUIRED! All Pickup/Super Duty 7.3L PCM's are "plug & play". You can plug in any functional "DPC-402" PCM to any EARLY 99 7.3L/Auto truck- it's ready to go, it DOES NOT need to be programmed.
This CAN also be used on Manual (ZF6) 7.3L Powerstroke trucks without issue, although there are some minor program (software) differences that can cause a few insignificant driveability quirks.
