More Information
The Elevate Outdoor Deluxe Aluminum Utility Cargo Carrier is a hitch-mounted automotive solution to moving your mobility equipment, gear or landscaping equipment from Point A to Point B with no trailer required. The lightweight aluminum construction makes the carrier simple to install on your vehicle with just one or two people. The thick slat design lets debris and moisture fall through without accumulating, and the inner edges provide multiple tie-down points for your straps. A fold-out ramp facilitates loading and unloading mobility scooters, lawnmowers, and other small wheeled items more manageable. It has a 500-pound weight capacity, and fits Class III and IV 2-inch hitch receivers. When the ramp is not in use, it locks in an upright position for safety. An included anti-wobble device reduces movement while driving to ensure that you're always safe wherever you go. A 5/8-inch hitch pin comes standard. Reflectors provide better nighttime visibility to other drivers.

Usage GuidelinesFormerly Apex. Please note, hitch-mounted carriers are not recommended for use on RVs, motorhomes, or tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers. Never exceed the lowest maximum rating of either of these two: vehicle's tongue weight and vehicle's trailer hitch tongue weight. Be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch.
