Product Introduction
The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor measures the volume of air entering the intake manifold. The vehicle PCM uses this data to control fuel injection accurately. It is installed in the intake duct, behind the air filter.
Installation Guide:
- Align the airflow arrow mark on the sensor pointing toward the engine.
- Fit the seals onto the new MAF sensor.
- Attach the sensor to air cleaner ducts. If mounted on throttle body, torque mounting screws to 10 ft-lb. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!
- Secure hose clamps on duct connections. Ensure airtight seal for proper operation. Replace clamps if damaged.
- Carefully plug in the wiring harness connector.
