Functionality: The drum brake shoe kit includes essential components like top and bottom brake shoes (one each), two red return springs, two red hold-down springs, two anchor pins, and two return spring retainers/clips. It will ensure balanced braking and safe stopping power. It will reduce downtime with fewer missing parts when doing a brake job.
Robust Construction: This brake shoe kit is made of durable metal equipped with friction lining material—called a lined brake shoe. Thus, make it ready to install. The brake shoe features pre-drilled holes for the rivet installation of the friction lining.
Replacement Guidelines: It’s necessary to change brake parts after frequent intervals. But if you encounter other signs (check below) in the rear brake shoes, then replace them immediately.
Inspect at least once a year or after every 12,000 miles.
Squealing or grinding noises when braking, especially at low speeds.
Burning smell or visible smoke due to overheated brake components.
Visible damage like uneven wear, cracked or sored drums.
If the friction material is worn down to 1.6 mm or less.
Never just replace one wheel’s set but both rear shoes simultaneously.
Change the springs and hardware with the shoes (as these lose tension over time and can cause dragging or uneven wear).
Regularly check/replace the driveshaft-mounted drum if damaged.
18 Months Warranty - This product is covered for one year, 100,000 miles after the installation, or 18 months after the purchase from Mytee Products, whichever comes first. The product’s warranty is only active when the parts have defective material or workmanship defaults. Inappropriate application will lead to the dismissal of the warranty. Additionally, the warranty doesn’t cover the parts that fail or get damaged due to misuse, misapplication, or accident. If the customer wishes to return/replace this product under warranty, contact. Mytee Products’ customer service. The team will verify by doing a thorough inspection and if they find a defect that is covered in above mentioned warranty; the product will be replaced free of charge. We disclaim liability for labor or consequential damages of any nature. We request the customers to wait until the claim is resolved and settled from Mytee Products’ end after replacement is requested under warranty.
