1964 Pontiac Transistor Ignition Distributor w/ 421 HO 1111040 dtd 4 A 20 Used For Sale - New and Used

A used Transistor Ignition distributor that was removed from a 1964 Pontiac with 421HO engine many years ago. It has a tag in poor condition showing it as part number 1111040 and dated 4A20 (Jan 20, 1964). This also the same distributor used in the 1963 Pontiac with the 421HO engine, the first year of production of the K-66 transistor ignition system in GM cars. The shaft does not have any play and the distributor gear shows virtually no wear. The weights, springs and pole piece all appear to be in very good condition. It has the original vacuum advance number 172-20. The pickup coil has a chip at one of the screw holes and the wiring has a rubber covering over part of it and appears to have been repaired. The black paint on the body of the distributor shows wear. The distributor can be recurved if you need it for a different application.
